Is your heart raging with fire for God? Do you have the embers leftover from a heart once set ablaze? In either case there is a need to keep fanning the flames. Hearts aflame for God are mighty weapons against the forces of darkness. Icicle hearts seldom make a difference.
To keep the fire burning we need to keep adding fuel to the flames. If we don't have the flame we need to fan the embers until they ignite once again. A.W. Tozer wrote about the fellowship of the burning heart. Hearts that are ablaze burn white hot with passion for God and advancing the kingdom of God.
How do you keep fanning the flames? Stay in the presence of God. Seek Him. Linger with Him. Hear from Him. Burn for Him. Our world needs more men, women, and students who will be added to the fellowship of the burning heart. Will you be added to that number?
