Jesus, my Savior and righteous Redeemer,
You forgive and make my heart cleaner,
On you alone am I wholly leaning,
Apart from You life has no meaning,
I am not perfect in any of my behavior,
That is why I needed a perfect Savior,
Who could stand for me in substitute,
Paying my debt for a heart of ill repute,
Jesus, you alone can cleanse my sin,
Never letting me bear them again,
You alone shine forth in perfection,
Causing me love and deep reflection,
On you do I trust and wholly leaning,
Clinging to your righteous gleaning.
