We are not as smart as we often think we are,
Ignoring Your wisdom seems foolishly bizarre,
You know everything from beginning to end,
We can't even see what's around the next bend,
Solomon prayed for wisdom beyond his years,
A wisdom that alleviated needless petty fears,
A wisdom going beyond any other ever known,
A wisdom he could never attain all on his own,
We need wisdom to navigate all the paths of life,
To bring peace in the midst of chaos calming strife,
We need wisdom irregardless of our position or age,
Wisdom in every season of life turning the next page.
