Lord we all need a little good news,
The world leaves us feeling abused,
Bad news abounds everywhere we look,
But there 's good news in Your Holy Book,
We are assured You reign on the throne,
You watch over and care for Your own,
You are a present help and our refuge,
In the storms of life when they deluge,
You are powerful as our burden lifter,
Helping when Satan attacks as sifter,
Even though temptations are abounding,
Your presence never quits surrounding,
Thank You for speaking some good news,
When we immerse ourselves in Your truths.
