Seventeen days from now Faith Community will embark on a forty-day journey with God to prepare for revival. We will use the the "40 Days to Shake the City" devotion book. Students and adults alike will go through this journey as we prepare for God to shake our lives, shake our church and to shake our city in revival and spiritual awakening.

Our revival is scheduled to begin July 15th. Please pray for our worship minister, Chris Nash, for those days. Chris and I have labored in revival before. He has a heart for the heart of God and to lead others there. Please pray for me. I am sending this out to solicit prayer cover for myself and Chris starting now and going until the revival ends. We have not set an ending date. We will leave that up to God. I covet prayer partners who will stand in the gap for us.

Of course you do not have to be a part of Faith Community Church to go on this journey with God. Many may opt to go through these forty days on their own. Our prayer is that many churches will go through this journey together when it is best for them to see God move powerfully in their churches and communities. May the Lord use this book for His glory. May God move in Faith Community Church and beyond for His glory. May the kingdom of God be expanded much through revived churches doing evangelism around the world.
