Today I say, "It is well with my soul",
Faith is strong my heart made whole,
In your presence I daily long to linger,
Tracing the work of your Sovereign fingers,
It is well deep down within my being,
Watching as all my darkness is fleeing,
When the seas are smooth glass sailing,
When my soul aches and continues ailing,
You still heal and work to make me well,
Your goodness an aroma a fragrant smell,
To one rebounding from the dark pain,
Finding relief and rest from all the strain,
Yes, Lord, Your work continues to console,
Today, I sing, "It is still well with my soul".
